» Pick up (Check-in) time for all the cruises are at 12.30 hours and dropping (Check-out) time is 09.30 hours. The in between 2 hours is required for refilling and housekeeping activities of the houseboat.
» Distance travelling on each day will be 35/40 KMs or 4 to 5hours on an average.
» Please dress properly while going through canals. Please wear the attire for Sun bath in the open lakes only.
» Meals served – The Fixed Menu is offering Typical Kerala cuisine. Any changes required will have to be intimated in advance. Pure Vegetarian dishes and Jain or Satwik food preparations are also known to the cook.
Lunch – Rice, Sambar, Vegetables, Fish fry, Salads, Pappad.
Evening – Tea / Coffee with snacks (banana fry).
Dinner – Rice, Chappathy, Vegetable curries, and chicken
Breakfast – Bread, butter, jam and eggs to order or
              – Puttu Set with Banana, pappad and curry
On advance request we serve dosa / idli / puttu or any other Kerala specialties for break fast / lunch or dinner.
» Mosquitoes and flies (insects) in the back waters is a natural partners to the human beings. We use some herbal products (Dashangam / Kunthirikkom) to smoke them out from the houseboat and keep them away.
» Kitchen and its limitations - with a single gas cylinder and limited vessels, and No Mixer, Grinder on board, the variety and quality of the homely food cannot be matched with hotels / restaurants
» Toilets and its limitations - with a small water tank on the roof top, the availability of water is limited and hence should be used carefully. Size of the toilet is around 20 sq. ft with western closet, hand held showers, wash basin and water taps.
» Rooms and its limitations - the size is around 80 sq ft and mostly have twin (2 separate) beds, blankets and mosquito nets.
» Sit out and its limitations - with around 80 sq ft in front of the houseboat to enjoy the scenic view and will have chairs and a multi purpose table
» Sun Deck and its limitations - with a single bed, availability of 'Sun' on the move cannot be 100%. But could be enjoyed in the evenings and mornings while the houseboat is anchored.
» Fishing Possibilities - will get fishing rods
» Other activities walk in the village, visit to local market, church, temple, old house, rice field, rowing a country boat (with life jackets)

» Narrow Canals and the normal village life around them are the most attractive part of the houseboat cruises. You will see women engaged in the daily chores of homely work (washing cloths, preparing fish, cleaning vessels etc.), children going to school, men and women working in the fields etc.

» Visit Champakulam Church, which is more than 200 years old.
» Kottaram Temple.
» Nedumudy to visit the local market
» Mancompu for a village walk and visit Bhagavathy Temple
» Karumady kuttan (believed to be a Budha statue)
» Puthen Thodu, Karumadi canal, Bombay thodu etc. are long streaches of narrow canals.
